Geoffrey Jones, individually and as Chairman/Founder of Houston-based Texas Real Estate Fund, Inc. (TREF), has developed, owned and invested in shopping centers, office buildings, and residential projects in the Houston metropolitan area since the 1980’s. TREF was founded in 1987 to develop and purchase real estate in Houston.
Jones was the original Co-General Partner/Developer of the $200 Mil Houston Pavilions mixed-use project in Houston’s CBD for which he received special recognition from Houston’s Eighteenth US Congressional District in 2006. He and his partners sold the project in 2012.The Houston Pavilions was the recipient of three Houston Business Journal Landmark Awards in 2007 and 2008.
James Murnane is a career commercial real estate finance professional, having worked in a variety of executive banking positions around the world.
Murnane was the long time CEO of commercial real estate financier North Houston Bank (1996-2010), and was involved in the structure and management of commercial real estate project financings of up to $275 million per transaction. He has strong expertise in all aspects of commercial real estate financing and management, with particular emphasis on transactions involving historic preservation and renovation.
